Installation Instructions EpoxySystems Conductive I. GENERAL INFORMATION EPOXYSYSTEMS CONDUCTIVE consists of 100% solids epoxy, carbon fibers, and aggregates to produce a fluid, self-leveling mixture that is spread with a flat trowel. Applied in two coats, EPOXYSYSTEMS CONDUCTIVE produces a 1/16 to 1/8 inch conductive floor. A 1/4 inch conductive surfacing can be achieved with additional applications.II. SURFACE PREPARATION Surface Preparation is the most critical portion of any successful resinous flooring system application. All substrates must be properly prepared as outlined in EPOXYSYSTEMS - TECHNICAL SUPPORT BULLETIN - SURFACE PREPARATION. Specific attention should be paid to the following:
Also, the temperature and humidity conditions of the area to receive the flooring system should be checked. An optimum room temperature of 75ºF with a minimum slab temperature of 50ºF is required for proper cure of the resin flooring system. III. MATERIAL QUANTITIES 1/16 inch
1. EpoxySystems Product #899 Primer/Low Modulus Binder 4 gallons 2. EpoxySystems Product #672 (1st coat) 20 gallons 3. EpoxySystems Product #672 (2nd coat) 20 gallons B. Recommended Batch Quantities 1/2 gallons EpoxySystems Product #672 Estimated Batch Coverage: 75-85 ft²

2. Application
Immediately pour portion of mixed material onto floor in a strip and spread at a rate of 45-50 ft² per gallon. Apply as a flow coat with a conventional cement finishing trowel. Trowel or spread material in one (1) direction only to achieve a smooth flow coat of material approximately 30 mils thick. Leave a "wet line" or puddle of material between batches to avoid "knit-lines" in the finished system.
Note: Application of second coat must be applied in one direction and perpendicular to the direction trowel for first coat. Carbon fibers need to "criss-cross" on floor.
D. Curing
1/16 inch. If a thicker system is required, build thickness prior to application of EpoxySystems Conductive Epoxy.1. Finished thickness of EpoxySystems Conductive is approximately
2. Do not open to light traffic for 48 hours. Full chemical cure is achieved in 5 to 7 days.
