WHERE TO USE
SURFACE PREPARATION Concrete Surfaces: Concrete surfaces shall be cleaned to remove dirt, curing compounds, coatings or laitance to provide a clean, sound bonding surface. Cleaning may be accomplished with Epoxy.com Masonry Cleaner and 5,000 psi minimum waterblasting, abrasive blasting, or other methods that achieve an acceptable result. Surfaces should be dry at time of application of PRODUCT #714.MIXING Use PRODUCT #714 Class D, E, or F according to the concrete surface temperature at the time of installation. Combine one part by volume "A" with one part by volume of "B" (mixing ratio 1:1). Mix for not less than three minutes, using a slow speed drill, (300 to 600 rpm) and an Epoxy.com Mixing Paddle. Apply immediately after mixing.
APPLICATION PRODUCT #714 should be applied within the first half of its gel time, so that there is adequate time left within the open time of the adhesive for closure and temporary post-tensioning to specification values. If the segments are not jointed within 70% of the PRODUCT #714 open time, operations should be halted, the PRODUCT #714 removed, and fresh PRODUCT #714 applied. Apply PRODUCT #714 on both segments to be joined to a minimum uniform thickness of 1/16", or to the fixed segment face to a minimum uniform thickness of 1/8", usingtrowel, brush, or gloved hand. A discernible bead line of PRODUCT #714 should be observed on all contact areas after closure and initial post tensioning. After the segments have been joined, excess PRODUCT #714 should be removed from the joined surfaces where accessible. Tendon ducts should be swabbed immediately after stressing, to remove or smooth any epoxy in the conduit, and to seal surface pockets or bubble holes that have formed. COVERAGE 231 cubic inches per gallon. One (1) mixed gallon will cover 3696 square inches, 1/16" thick, or 1848 square inches, 1/8" thick. PACKAGING PRODUCT #714 is available in two (2) gallon and ten (10) gallon units.CAUTION "A" Component contains epoxy resin . DANGER! "B" Component contains alkaline amines; strong sensitizer. May cause skin sensitization or other allergic responses. Use with good ventilation, particularly if material is heated or sprayed. Prevent all contact with skin or eyes. Wear protective clothing, goggles, gloves and/or barrier creams. Keep container closed when not in use. Wash thoroughly after handling.FIRST AID: In case of skin contact, immediately wash with soap and water. in case of eye contact, flush eyes with copious amounts of water for at least fifteen (15) minutes. Remove contaminated clothing shoes. If irritation persists, seek medical attention. Wash clothing before reuse.

Epoxy.com may in its discretion refund the price received by Epoxy.com in lieu of replacing the material.
