EpoxySystems' Product #705 Flexible Adhesive
DESCRIPTION: EPOXYSYSTEMS’ PRODUCT #705 Two Component Flexible Adhesive is a two component flexible adhesive, formulated to bond plastics to various substrates. EPOXYSYSTEMS’ PRODUCT #705 will adhere plastics to other plastics, concrete, steel, wood and masonry. EPOXYSYSTEMS’ PRODUCT #705 is thixotropic and is easily applied by serrated trowel.ADVANTAGES:
PHYSICAL PROPERTIES:
SURFACE PREPARATION: For best results, areas to receive the Product #705 should be free of laitance, grease, oil, and any other contaminants that would inhibit bond. Sandblasting, waterblasting, or wire brushing, or dust free grinding for surface preparation are recommended. MIXING: Double Barrel Gun: With the use of static mixers in double barrel guns, no prior mixing is required. Mixing: For large volume jobs to be mixed in 5 gallon pails or other suitable mixers where fillers such as Product #75 or other oven dry silica sands are used, for best results combine two parts by volume of Component "A" with one part by volume of Component "B" of Product #705in a clean pail, using a slow speed drill and an Epoxy Systems’ Mixing Paddle. Mix for a minimum of three (3) minutes to a uniform consistency. To obtain a mortar, slowly add a maximum of one part by volume of Product #75 Filler while continuing to mix. COVERAGE: When used neat, a 3 gallon unit of Product #705 will cover approximately 80 square feet (7.4 m˛) at a 20 mil thickness. When used as a mortar, a 3 gallon unit of Product #705, mixed with 3 gallons by volume of #75 Filler, will yield approximately 1,050 cubic inches of mortar. LIMITATIONS: Product #705 should not be applied when surface temperatures are below 40° F (4.4° C). For best results, do not exceed one part by volume of #75 Filler to one part by volume of mixed Product #705.CAUTION: WARNING! A Component contains epoxy resin. DANGER! B Component contains alkaline amines; strong sensitizer. May cause skin sensitization or other allergic responses. Use with good ventilation, particularly if it is heated or sprayed. Prevent all contact with skin and eyes. Wear protective clothing, goggles, gloves and/or barrier creams. Keep container closed when not in use. Wash thoroughly after handling. FIRST AID: In case of skin contact, immediately wash with soap and water. In case of eye contact, flush with copious amounts of water for at least 15 minutes. Remove contaminated clothing and shoes. Epoxy Systems™ Product Company ("ESI") warrants its products (when properly stored) for the period of time as follows: Epoxies, Product #315, Product #315BC, and Product #316 one (1) year; Polyesters, Methyl Methacrylates (normal) two (2) months and Polyurethanes Four (4) months; Power Tools and Equipment 90 days; Vinyl Esters, High Molecular Weight Methacrylates (HMMA) and all other resins (not specifically mentioned above) 30 days; hand tools (non-power tools) 30 days. ESI warrants that its products will be free of manufacturing defects and will be in conformity with published specifications when handled, stored, mixed and applied in accordance with recommendations of ESI. If any product fails to meet this warranty, the liability of ESI will be limited to replacement of any non-conforming material if notice of such non-conformity is given to ESI within the warranty period for the material (as indicated above), or within 1 year of the delivery of materials (whichever is sooner). ESI may in its discretion refund the price received by ESI in lieu of replacing the material. No customer, distributor, or representative of ESI is authorized to change or modify the published specifications of this warranty in any way. No one is authorized to make oral warranties on behalf of ESI. In order to obtain replacement or refund the customer must provide written notice containing full details of the non-conformity. ESI reserves the right to inspect the non-conforming material prior to replacement. EXCEPT FOR THE EXPRESSED WARRANTY STATED ABOVE, THERE ARE NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR PURPOSE. ESI'S OBLIGATION SHALL NOT EXTEND BEYOND THE OBLIGATIONS EXPRESSLY UNDERTAKEN ABOVE AND ESI SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY OR RESPONSIBILITY TO THE PURCHASER OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR ANY LOSS, COST, EXPENSE, DAMAGE OR LIABILITY, WHETHER DIRECT OR INDIRECT, OR FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. Unless authorized in writing by Epoxy Systems, Inc. in writing before the material is made, there are no returns on items purchased from us, once the order has been processed, and the material made. In the event of authorized returns a restocking charge will be charged in the amount of 30% of the value of the material returned or $150 whichever is greater. No returns on non-list priced items. All Returns are for merchandise (store) credit only, no cash or credit card credits. In the event of a return, buyer is responsible for the cost of shipping and handling in both directions.
