Low Viscosity Urethane Gel Grout


Description

Epoxy.com Product #432 is a low viscosity, rapid gelling, hydrophobic grout. Epoxy.com Product #432 is used to seal leaks in cracked concrete, for soil stabilization and for repairing leaking joints in structures. This all-purpose grout is easily mixed with water or stabilizer at a convenient 1 to 1 by volume mix ratio

Where to use

  • Sealing cracks in concrete or honeycombed concrete.
  • Inject into soil as a soil stabilizer
  • Joint repair for pipes in water or sewage facilities
  • Elevator Pits
  • To stop soil erosion due to flowing water or seepage.
  • Manholes. Used to prevent water infiltration.

Mix Ratio

Mix one part by volume of Epoxy.com Product #432 to one part by volume of water for a strong gel and minimal expansion. The water used to react the product should be in the pH range of 7 to 9; water outside of this pH range may affect eh final properties of the system.  Gelling will not take place when the pH is below 3 (acidic) or or above 10 (alkaline).

Storage and Handling

Epoxy.com #432 should be stored in temperatures of 50 to 80oF.  For long term storage, store at 40-50oF under dry conditions.  Once a pail has been opened, the effectiveness of the Epoxy.com #432 may be reduced

Clean Epoxy.com #432 from application equipment as quickly as possible to prevent the material from forming a gel.  Immediately after use, hoses and pumps can be cleaned with acetone or acetone free cleaner.  Avoid conditions, which could cause ignition: e.g., heat, sparks, open flames, etc.  Epoxy.com #432can be pumped using hand or air operated piston pumps.  A nitrogen blanket moisture barrier is added to the pail ofEpoxy.com #432to retard premature catalyses of resin in the pail due to humidity.

CAUTION

Epoxy.com #432 contains T D I (Toluene Diisocyanate) and petroleum distillate. Use in well ventilated areas. Avoid breathing vapors.  Avoid   eye contact and repeated skin contact.  Gloves and goggles are recommended.  A self-contained breathing apparatus should be worn in confined spaces where T D I and solvent vapors are likely to be high.  Monitoring may be performed by using a simple badge monitor. The T D I monitors are available from G.M.D. Systems, Inc.  Consult MSDS for further safety information.

Epoxy Systems™ Product Company ("ESI") warrants its products (when properly stored) for the period of time as follows: Epoxies, Product #315, Product #315BC, and Product #316 one (1) year; Polyesters, Methyl Methacrylates (normal) two (2) months and Polyurethanes Four (4) months;  Power Tools and Equipment 90 days; Vinyl Esters, High Molecular Weight  Methacrylates (HMMA) and all other resins (not specifically mentioned above) 30 days; hand tools (non-power tools) 30 days.   ESI warrants that its products will be free of manufacturing defects and will be in conformity with published specifications when handled, stored, mixed and applied in accordance with recommendations of ESI. If any product fails to meet this warranty, the liability of ESI will be limited to replacement of any non-conforming material if notice of such non-conformity is given to ESI within the warranty period for the material (as indicated above), or within 1 year of the delivery of materials (whichever is sooner). ESI may in its discretion refund the price received by ESI in lieu of replacing the material. No customer, distributor, or representative of ESI is authorized to change or modify the published specifications of this warranty in any way. No one is authorized to make oral warranties on behalf of ESI. In order to obtain replacement or refund the customer must provide written notice containing full details of the non-conformity. ESI reserves the right to inspect the non-conforming material prior to replacement. EXCEPT FOR THE EXPRESSED WARRANTY STATED ABOVE, THERE ARE NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR PURPOSE. Many of our products are made on an individual order basis.   Unless authorized in writing by Epoxy Systems, Inc. in writing before the material is made, there are no returns on items purchased from us, once the order has been processed, and the material made. In the event of authorized returns a restocking charge will be charged in the amount of 30% of the value of the material returned or $150 whichever is greater.  No returns on non-list priced items.  All Returns are for merchandise (store) credit only, no cash or credit card credits.  In the event of a return, buyer is responsible for the cost of shipping and handling in both directions.
