Slant shear tests meet and exceed requirements of ASTM C 882. Allow 10 to 15 minutes open time to apply PRODUCT #20, prior to placement of fresh concrete, when testing slant shear at 40°F (4°C).

SURFACE PREPARATION: All surfaces to receive Epoxy.com PRODUCT #20 must be free of dirt, grease, curing compound, liquid contaminants, heavy laitance and soft or deteriorated concrete. It's recommended that abrasive blasting, water blasting or acid etching with a 10% solution of commercial muriatic acid be utilized for surface preparation. Vacuum all areas prior to application to remove fine particles of cement or sand. Surface must be sound.

MIXING: Combine two parts by volume of "A" Component with one part by volume of "B" Component (mixing ratio is 2:1). For best results, mix entire unit. The blend should be thoroughly mixed for at least three minutes with a low speed 1/2" electric drill and Epoxy.com Mixing Paddle. If used as a mortar, introduce the Epoxy.com Product #76 -Epoxy Filler slowly while mixing to assure proper aggregate saturation.

APPLICATION: Keep Epoxy.com PRODUCT #20 warm where possible. This will facilitate mixing and application. No ice should be present when applying.

YIELD: One (1) gallon (3.8 L) of PRODUCT #20, with 3 to 3 1/4 parts of Product #76 -Epoxy Filler, provides approximately 645 cu. in. (1 x 10 cm ) of mortar.

LIMITATIONS: Do not thin; solvents will prevent proper cure. Use only oven-dry aggregate to avoid encapsulation of moisture.

CAUTION:
"A" Component: WARNING! Contains epoxy resin. May cause skin sensitization or other allergic responses. Avoid inhalation of vapors and all contact with skin or eyes. Use good ventilation. Wear protective clothing, goggles, gloves and/or barrier creams. If contact with skin occurs, wash immediately with soap and water. In case of contact with eyes, flush immediately with water for at least 15 minutes. Contact a physician.

"B" Component: CAUTION! DANGER! Contains aliphatic amines. May cause burns, skin sensitization, and other allergic responses. Do not get into eyes, on skin or clothing. Avoid breathing vapors. Keep containers closed. Use with adequate ventilation. In case of contact with eyes or skin, flush immediately with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Call a physician. Wear protective clothing, goggles, gloves and/or barrier creams. Remove contaminated clothing and wash before reuse. Discard contaminated shoes.
